Is this a Dogwood Flower?

I have to confess I know very little about the spring blossoms that are blooming so spectacularly in the Blue Mountains at the moment. I know there will be a very wise blipper out there who will set me right on this delicate flower. It's growing at a very humble cottage on Shipley Road and I drove back this afternoon with my macro lens to try and get a nice sharp image. I had quite a dilemma when choosing my main image and have posted the other that was in contention! I would love your vote on which one you would have chosen as the main one.
