Crabapple

CCN and I head into town today and visited the Rhododendron Gardens in Blackheath. Usually the gardens are overflowing with the Rhodos in bloom at this time of the year but we were about three weeks early. I’m sure the dry winter has a factor in the late arrival of spring. We still really enjoyed ourselves and have just spent a few minutes going through the images we took. We settled on this gloriously coloured Crabapple blossom. It was climbing all over the verandah just outside the tea rooms.

No rain today, but I did get a chance to check out the level of the water in our tank. Woohoo - it’s right up to the top rung. A joyful sign with summer just around the corner.
