Newhaven Harbour

In the business ( or busyness) of packing up and shopping for my empty larder at home, there was little time for photography, so I missed altogether the lovely brightness of the morning sunshine. By the time we escaped from Sainsbury’s (oh, the thrill of a different supermarket) thin cloud had covered the sky, and when I’d bought my fish in Welch’s in the rather more picturesque Newhaven it was quite grey.

So here is the peaceful busyness of the harbour, quite full of boats at anchor but no activity. And now I’m back in the west and it’s pouring. Normal service has been resumed...
