Distractions

Here's one of the jobs lined up for yesterday that was thwarted by drizzle. Today it's still waiting to be done, this time because LH and I met up with friends from long, long ago who used to live far, far away and have wonderfully moved much closer. So we had a lovely wander, each couple with a Springer Spaniel accompaniment (theirs was the liver/white version) followed by lunch followed by a spontaneous visit back to ours.
The best sort of day! Still crazy after all these years :-D
