Poppydog

A bit of an EB but Popydog is always willing to pose on the sofa with her eyes closed.

There's something to be said for a 24hr turnaround; sort the post, keep the washing machine and iron going, mow the grass and deal with all the electronic stuff. So that's sorted.

However, the toilet cistern couldn't be fixed as planned (mad design where the overflow is so high up in the tank that any slight problem means the water comes out the flush handle hole ... as it did whilst we were last away). The new cistern to be fitted had the exact same design ... who builds these things for goodness' sake?! We lived in our previous house for 26 years and in the 2 we've been here we've had more issues than in the same period there! Aaargggh!

Good news (phew!); the fencer should be here tomorrow (6months late, but hey, we are so grateful he's finally made it ... hopefully!).
