Relatives

LH's grandmother had four brothers who emigrated to Canada (the three sisters stayed in the UK). This morning, one of their offspring came to breakfast with LH's mum, having survived a long flight from Vancouver and a lack of trains to Hull. He was a lovely chap, recently widowed, and about to go on a vineyard tour of Portugal, taking in a few relatives on the way. If we ever get to Canada I think we have a good welcome awaiting :-)

It's been a long weekend in many ways. On our final leg home after a stopover with LD and partner on the way.
