Rosetta - again

Today I went with T. to an exhibition in the Hessisches Landesmuseum in Darmstadt. It was about the mission of Rosetta and it was the last day of the exhibition. So we were not the only one who had this idea. After a long waiting we entered the exhibition room and even got a part of a guided tour for children. We learned about meteorits and the mission of Rosetta. There was also an excellent multi media show.
You could lay down on the ground (on big pillows) and watch informations and the adventure of Rosetta, projected on the vaulting of the room.
There was also the big oldfashion telescope. In the background you can see the history of Rosettas advernture. It started 2004 and landed 2016 on a smal comet in a distance of 405.000.000 km away from earth.
Absolutely astonishing! Some weeks ago we have been at an open night at the esa and have seen the control room and a 1:1 model of Rosetta. More informations? Have a look here
After Rosetta T. wanted to visit another part of the museum. I thought she would go to the mammoth, but she went straight to the modern art. I was very curious how she would react about the art of Joseph Beuys.
In the first room, I told her to choose one picture to have a proper look at it. And what had she chosen? The emergency plan! Hahahaha :-)))
