Monday: Beautiful Morning

Sunny all morning and very mild. Whilst the sun was low it was shining through the autumnal colours of the leaves on the silver birch in next door's car park - so pretty, the photo doesn't do it justice.
Took advantage of the fine weather to cut down all the tomato vinesin the greenhouse, managed to fill a colander with fruit of plum tomatoes "Scatolone" and the tiny "Sweet Aperitif" - they'll ripen in the kitchen and get used up! The compost which the tomatoes grew in will be sieved over the next few days and will be very handy for transplanting some of my little plants.
It started raining at lunch time, lucky I'd bought the washing in!
Afternoon spent colouring the Christmas cards I'd stamped last week, the time just flew :-))
