Photo bombed

We went down to Exeter to look for a blind and other bits and pieces for the bathroom.

This gull decided to get in this picture of the cathedral and a couple sitting at the feet of Richard Hooker, the Elizabethan theologian and legal scholar who was born nearby; apparently, his main claim to fame was a series of books, defending Anglicanism against Catholoicism and Puritanism.

We got most of the shopping we wanted, apart from the blind, had a very pleasant lunch and made some initial enquiries about a possible holiday for a big birthday next year.
