Hallelujah!

Dear Diary,

I don't know why that word popped into my head when I saw this but it did.  The sun was illuminating the leaves and the grass heads looked like hands raised up.  I know this is the time in the garden when plants are finishing the season, preparing for winter, but these grasses are going out with shout of joy it seemed to me.

The leaves are beginning to swirl in the breeze...the peak has come.  It is their last hurrah.  There are so many small details to photograph, it is hard to choose.  It is a time to celebrate the final stages of growth, the dried leaf, the flower's seed head.  It is the end of a cycle but there is still promise and hope.  Time to plant some bulbs!
