Starburst tree

What with one thing and another I haven't taken any photos for a while.

Walking today I passed this willow which had presumably been damaged recently, although the winds haven't been that bad lately. The centre looks rotten and the branches have fallen out symmetrically like the spokes of a wheel. Being a willow, it will no doubt keep on growing from this new position, unless the Parks dept. decide to tidy it up. I rather hope they don't, as it's added a bit of interest to the riverbank at this point.
