Spelt

We took the opportunity of a fair weather morning to explore a different part of Helsinki. We got the Number 8 tram over towards Kallio. Once we got off, I realised it was an area where I'd been before, years ago - where the Academy used to have its offices. We wandered down through a park, and past some interesting old properties towards the Hakaniemi market hall, our chosen destination. We picked up some meat, some bread, some pastries, and had a coffee (and a bun...yes...). When we came out again, the rain had started early, so we cut our explorations short and came home again on a couple of trams.


We've cracked the rugby watching on the laptop now, and as it's European cup weekend there's games to watch on Eurosport as well as on BT Sport. So that will keep us amused on a truly crappy evening. Hopefully, we'll get some better weather tomorrow.
