Travelling

These days a five hour journey is good going. All motorway or dual carriageway until we cross the Forest. Our usual route on the back roads avoiding the Lyndhurst bottleneck, weaving around the occasional pony. Brief lunch stop in Minstead, a quick manoeuvre to get ahead of a load of ponies heading towards us.

Arrived at Mum in Laws in good time. Later to the BnB to book in, via a 5 minute detour to look at and listen to the sea. Good BnB, we have a room, not the rather striking caravan in the garden.

Back to Mum in Laws, it’s strictly Saturday.
