Ice on the creek

Walked along the creek this morning early as I knew there would be ice all along the shoreline as we had a really cold day yesterday with below freezing temperatures during the night.  As a matter of fact, it was only 28F when I ventured out with the camera.   I should take a photo of all the accessories that were layered on to keep me warm!     And then by the time I got back with 175 photos, I was ready to come out of those extra clothes.   

The creek was wonderful with ice floating on it.  Some places had ice crystals moving and growing across the water.  I loved the gold trees reflecting as in this photo.    Nature is an amazing artist!
