The wrong lens....

....the right one was 35 miles away. Oh well you win some you loose some.

I was wondering why the big window behind me in my office was glowing red for a good 45 minutes before I decided to investigate. To my surprise the sun was glowing like I'd never seen before, moments later the internet told me it was a "Red Sun" caused by Saharan dust/sand.

I thought the big story today (weather wise) would be the hurricane/storm hitting Ireland but I think the sun has taken the spotlight.

I normally have a 400mm lens in my bag, unfortunately today I didn't but I still wanted to record the phenomenon anyway, so here you have my below par shot (I've seen some fantastic shots today of it).
