Wetherby Water Wheel

This afternoon I popped to Wetherby for some fuel and a few bits from the supermarket and I also had a wander down to the weir area.

This derelict water wheel is left over from the days when there was a mill on the banks of the river. I would like to show all the cogs down below but the pit has become a litter bin - full of crisp packets and plastic bottles - and it is not a pretty sight.

I also photographed a gull with attitude - see extra.
