Posh Privy

I had an early start this morning, on the road at 7a.m. for a trip to Doncaster. I had to take our granddaughter to school for the morning session, collect her at lunch time, feed her and then deliver her to nursery for the afternoon.

Once finished with grandad duties I called into Brodsworth Hall for a walk around the grounds, hoping for lots of autumn colour. There are bits (see extra) but not whole trees yet!

Instead you have the recently restored ‘privy’ which was installed in Victorian times to save the owners having to walk back to the house if they got caught short whilst walking in the gardens.

The land immediately around the building was planted with strongly scented plants to spare the blushes!
