High Force Detail , Cumbria

Today as the wind was still blowing a hoolie, we headed for the relative shelter of Aira Force. As you can imagine the water flow was very dynamic after a night of heavy rain. Having lost my confidence in my balance a while ago, I proceeded gingerly along the wet, rocky paths but made the circuit up to High Force without mishap. I took loads of water shots but as always it was the little details that really grabbed my eye (see my blip) but I never got the proverbial shot with an autumn leaf balanced on one of the rocks.
