Miniature Roses

Today’s picture is of some miniature roses, which were still looking okay in the garden; I decided to rescue them before the rain, gales and deer damaged them.
   
It has been raining for much of today, much to the disgust of Dougal who went out several times before eventually realising that it was not going to get any better and he went to sleep on his blanket. Florence, who appears to have more brains than him, looked through the window and decided that it was a day to spend in bed. This afternoon it has stopped for a while and at the first opportunity Dougal was off on his inspection of the garden.
