Fan Detail, Merseyside Maritime Museum

We spent hours here today. The story of the Lusitania on the first floor. A fan given to the ladies at the Captain's Dinner. Second floor - Titanic Exhibition. The ship was registered in Liverpool, and many locals were employed on the vessel. Third floor - Slavery Museum. Very well documented, moving, shocking. Many quotes carved into the walls, a lot to take in.

Perhaps a bit too much doom and gloom, but stories need to be told. The Albert Dock area is really interesting. Good to see original features kept in the restoration.

Dinner with friends this evening, lots of Liverpool and Lenzie chat. Good to catch up.
