Pollarded Poplars.

Having delivered Herself to Bristol first thing for a patchwork course, I went for a walk with Sis and, to prove it, here she is. The line of Poplar trees has been heavily pollarded which does nothing to improve their natural elegance. In Bristol, it is lime trees that are routinely butchered - in Didcot, it seems, poplars suffer that fate.
