Autumnal reflections on the Union Canal

I think that my blip today looks like an early C19th old painting of a rural scene. It is, in fact, a snap from my iPhone on the Union Canal not far from Edinburgh city centre. I took the shot on a 21.5 mile cycle ride with Mr hazelh this afternoon. The circuit took just over two and a quarter hours with a couple of stops for photographs.

Also today I have been to the supermarket and the library (where I returned The story of the lost child by Elena Ferrante and reserved three guidebooks about Naples), and made moussaka for our supper tonight.
