On the finishing straight

Back in the studio this afternoon. Subdued the errant cupboards early on by taking it all apart and paying particular attention when putting it back together. Had the slots on the last piece the right way around and it went in first time. After that, the next two pieces were straightforward as they were constructed the same way. Only drawers, a filing cabinet, some shelves and a second chair remain to be assembled.

Spent the morning on the computer doing stuff for a teleconference meeting and writing a referee's report while Susan was talking to her sister for what seemed like hours. At least I got all these tasks out of the way in the morning rather than the afternoon which was when I was planning to do the work.
