Pigs might fly, but in Lugano so might cows, at any rate with only a little help from Photoshop this one might.

We had a wander around the shops in Lugano today, without seeing much that we could afford, so the shopping is postponed until we are back in Italy. We then went for a round trip on the lake. It was quite cool outside when the boat was on the move. We stuck it out however with the help of a bottle of wine to keep us warm, though as it was white wine the bottle was chilled.

In the evening it rained quite heavily so there was nothing for it but to adjourn to a bar for an aperitivo before having dinner in the same establishment as last night. Fungi Porcini are in season so I have been attempting to have my entire year supply during this visit as we cannot get fresh porcini mushrooms very often in the UK, outside London anyway.

We saw a car pull up at the parking in front of the bar. The driver got out and plugged the car into an electric socket at the parking space. That is the first time I have seen such a thing, in fact the first time I have seen an electric car on the road. It was a Tesla so quite sporty. Quite fast until the battery runs out!
