After all the driving yesterday, I was allowed a relaxing day today, so Sis took us to see her new home; I thought it was the first floor flat just above the hi-vis jacket with the white safety helmet. As the floor plan doesn’t match the kitchen extensions visible on the sides of the building in view we assume that her's is around the corner.
This block of retirement homes is a small part of an enormous housing estate (think “little boxes” here) that will double the population of Didcot. The authorities seem to have given some thought to the development as there are numerous play areas for the children, well away from the pensioners, and a LIDL’s next door to it that looks as though it should be open as I post this entry a week late.
I did take a picture of the kitchen units on the crane’s hook but, hey, you’ve all seen pictures of kitchen units still packed in their boxes.
