The Old Bull.

We went up to Stratford to visit my nephew and Godson; he and his family live in three cottages not unlike The Old Bull in the Blip. The inn is, reputedly, the inspiration behind the Bull in some radio soap that has been dumbed down to such an extent that I turn the radio OFF at 7:00 pm every evening.
 
As if to prove the point, the adjacent Methodist Chapel (see extra) seems to want to get in on the act by placing this weather vane on top of its front gable; but, then again, perhaps it’s just a coincidence.
 
An interesting footnote (at least to me) is that Godfrey Baseley, the creator of “The Archers,” was also an ardent tricyclist.
