Pinktober Seal Watching

Oh wow! I’ve long wanted to visit Hunstanton for a whale watching boat trip. On Wednesday evening the bride to be recommended Blakeney Point instead (though she did think the fish and chips were a,axing at Hunstanton)! Yesterday, at Holkham, we ran into the Education Officer there and she too said ‘Blakeney’ and then at the evening reception, the Wild life Wrden from LC (good friend of the groom) also said Blakeney. So, I called early this morning, booked a trip and it did not disappoint. I love boats anyway, and I really would love a job like that. On the sea, with happy tourists, what’s not to like, anyway, it was fabulous, saw seals on the Point, which has a wonderful history and also around the boat. Even Mr L was impressed and not grumpy, then went into Cromer for a cream tea.

This evening ate dinner at our hotel and now having an early night, as Mr L is missing Dog and wants to make an early start home, hahah!

The sort of pink flowers were the table decorations at yesterday’s wedding, a nod to Pinktober. Please don’t forget to give a mammogram by clicking the link. http://thebreastcancersite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/bcs/home;jsessionid=C664D238131F7AD479755B4A56CB7755?1
