Nothing like a bit of softness...

After a wonderful nights sleep and a short 6 hour day of work, I headed down to the local estuary... It's only 13 miles from work.. It was fogged in but that just made it extra special.. A wonderful 4 hour stay and a 4 mile stroll among dozens of herons.. This was my favorite photo with the extra being my second favorite..

After this I went car shopping.. With the internet, I don't understand why dealers go old school.. You see the M.S.R.P. and then go from there.. I asked one dealer to send me a price and was told we will negotiate when i get there.. One said just buy the car.. we will get you one after in a few days.. and.. You should have seen how hot I got one manager when I wouldn't take his B.S. by asking other employees questions.. Luckily there are the good places too.. One place said Ford had 4,000 off those cars, 7,000 off those cars and.. any questions please ask.. a test driver by yourself.. no problem.. another dealer had a "no dicker sticker", fairly priced cars.. the were too.. It looks like I will get a Honda.. 90% sure.. Quality built, not much more than the others I looked at and 40 miles per gallon on the highway... 15 more than I am getting now.. Now I just need to find a nice dealer..

Afterwords my mom and I had a wonderful dinner outside at a local park watching a beautiful sunset over the Olympic Mountains.. A real perfect way to end a Saturday.. Tomorrow I'll see my dad and watch more on Vietnam.. Oh an I will bring him my moms homemade banana nut bread.. Yum!
