Juciy breakfast

We are winding down from the holidays, girls are back to school and kinder on Monday for fourth term!. Today was a day spent relaxing at home and pottering around the house, with games of chasey, and colouring in some of their favourites.

Bailee had a huge slice of watermelon for breakfast this morning, it reminds me of all things I love about summer, that and water fights in the backyard and of course the trips to the ice cream shop, the smell of BBQ cooking and the the never ending days filled with sunshine.

The girls invented a new type of game today, they had found a discarded spray on suncream bottle and they had sprayed it on the slides, the squeals of delight as they slipped and skidded around all over the place was heartwarming it was the sound of pure JOY. The game kept them entertained for ages until eventually all the suncream was used up and they were all shinny from the greasy fun they were having.

Inside for a early bath and dinner. Daylight saving starts on the weekend, so a new time to adjust to and back to routine for Monday.
