A view from Jeanneb

First frost of the season

Certainly for us here this morning was the coldest we've had so far with quite an extensive frost.

It made a great day for an early walk up to the moors, good views and lovely skies all around even if we needed gloves and hats for the first time.

This path leads to Catstones Moor above Cullingworth and as you can see the path, which is still in the shade, is frosty. The same applied to fields where the sun hadn't reached as we looked out over our neighbouring village.

We crossed both Catstones and Harden Moor before descending through the woods of the St Ives Estate. Just the three of us today but a most enjoyable 5 mile circuit to start the week.
