MM - Magpie

Although Magpies are good looking birds and can be amusing,  I can't bring myself to like them because of their habit of taking the eggs and young from smaller birds.  I do admire their intelligence though and I think it's because of this that they often evade being photographed;  today the morning was cold and so they had to come out for food - and so had to endure being blipped.
