Painted Lady in Black and White

Many thanks to JDO for superb hosting of Mono-Monday this month and today's theme of animal.   I went to the botanical gardens this cold and windy morning and was amazed to see that there were still many Painted Ladies on what remained of the Zinnias.  I don't have a dog or cat, and the squirrels were scarce today, so this seemed to fit the bill.
