Roots

Our final morning in Seville.  These amazing tree roots were photographed in the Murillo gardens (next to the Real Alcazar).  I reckon the top of the routes were a good 30cm above the ground.

The return journey to London was not quite as smooth as the outward journey.  There was the familiar long, slow queue for the bag drop at Seville airport, and the queue for customs at Gatwick, although moving steadily, was so long it took ages to get through.  The customs hall looked overwhelmed.

Nevertheless, an excellent short break to a lovely city which would be well worth re-visiting.
