Layers of blue and green

We travelled 112 km down a winding road (the Princes highway) to Mallacoota in Victoria. It is surrounded by wilderness and National Parks on the far eastern side of the state overlooking Gabo Island and next stop New Zealand. The town is small but has three caravan parks and this one has about 700 sites spread around a headland and goes for about a kilometre. It is huge. Rained for the first hour but then we saw the sun, hooray. There are extensive lake systems here for all water sports. Pop 972. There is about one caravan site per person. There are about 600km of water frontage so almost one per person....(??) other than the small town there is nothing but beautiful layers of blues and greens and some golden sand.
