The Head Gets A Makeover (Thur 2nd November 2017)

Someone has anonymously Lolita-fied The Head sculpture that lies outside the library. A couple of years ago it was yarn-bombed. Both modifications were improvements in my view.

When I first blipped it I wrote, "'The Head' was created for a millennium competition run by the Mayor of Calne in 2000, and was won by Rick Kirby, who had created other head sculpture commissions. The open head facing the library supposedly represents being open to learning and challenges."
