Birthday cupcakes

First Sunday in November already. This year .... honestly, feels like it’s whizzed by. And maybe that’s a good thing, no?

We have a friend visiting at the moment who’s going to be staying with us for a few days from tomorrow onwards. Jeanette used to live in DB for a while before moving back to the UK. I did visit her in Southhampton last year and glad she’s coming to spend time with us.

We met for lunch after church with some other friends, which was lovely. Went to one of our favourite Chinese restaurants at the Marina Club.

Then home for a quick rest and baking/icing cupcakes for friend Mike, who’s birthday it is today. I made these cupcakes to take down to the beach so we could celebrate.

Martin and I have a special anniversary coming up soon, our 25th! We are planning a party at home, so I’m going to be pretty busy and distracted this week. So excited!
