Q  How long does it take to get 39 ramblers over a stile?
A  Quite a long time!

I was the back-marker so obviously I was the last over.  

In almost three years of walking with the Ramblers it's the first time that I've volunteered to back-mark, which isn't very generous of me but I usually want to be at the front!  Today I didn't mind as I was nursing my knee, which was fine with it's elastic support, and I was quite happy to walk at a slightly slower pace.
