What our frogs will see when they return...

We've had the gardeners in to make the garden ready for the winter and one of the things they did was clean up the pond. They pumped out the water,  dug out the mess made by fallen leaves and trimmed down the water lillies, so there's only 4 clumps of them left. I do realise this is not great news for the dragonflies and their nymphs, who have most probably not survived this treatment and I think the frogs who lived in there will be wondering what happened to their little piece of  pond wilderness paradise ! It's actually possible to look through the water at the moment !

For MonoMonday with thanks to Marlieske who is hosting in November and has set the theme to 'a frog's view' , I took that rather literally even if I have no idea how a frog sees ;-)

Thanks very much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's geode and AT results Blip
