Fun day in Berlin

I was off work today to spend time with Fiona. After yesterdays late night we were no early birds but went out before 1 pm for a quick run in the Kiez. We fancied the galettes in the Markethaoo and had them for breakfast. they were amazing!!! Fiona also bought a new red hat (see extra) - a total bargain even.
We then took the UBahn to Alexanderplatz to visit the Design Panoptikum Museum, which had moved during summer.
We were lucky and the very eccentric and quirky owner was there and gave us a special tour! We had a lot of fun and I am sure I will go there again.
When we finally got out it was getting dark already. We walked all the way to Kreuzberg 36 and browsed the more dodgy parts of Berlin and visited the Photo booth in Markthalle 9.
We ended at the tacky Tiki Heart Bar for coffee, drinks and food and shared the couch with the old dog Max who enjoyed a cuddle.
After two monster burgers we rolled out the door and walke almost half the way home before we took the U-Bahn.
We had a great day and now I need to pack for my trip to Bratislava tomorrow .... That's the fin time over.
I will not be able to post anything again until Friday.

My blip is the Photo automat in Markthalle Neun und the Extra is the wonderful Fiona with her new hat.
