An ordinary life....

Smashing Splashing...

It's been Piccadilly Circus here today.

Guy came to fit left foot accelerator in our car.
French Polishers returned the furniture pieces they were fixing and gave the kitchen table a final coat of oil.
Landscapers at the door to chat about various aspects of the garden design.
Two Amazon deliveries (materials for the flower photography course so should be able to get started tomorrow.)
Prescription delivery from the pharmacy.

Then it quietened down a bit till it was time for Alan to go in the pool.

Alan's been wanting his support worker Christine to go in the pool with him for months but had to wait until all the health and safely stuff had been completed and risk assessments done and team training.

There's usually three people required to get Alan in and out of the pool; two in the water and one person pool side working the hoist.  As there was only David and Christine here, I was was the poolside helper working the hoist.  I was also trying to look after Lola.

Once Alan was in the pool room I bribed Lola into her crate and she was happy there for the 5 minutes I was away helping.  I returned to help get Alan out again.

I was only in the pool room for 10 minutes all in but it is so hot and humid my hair has turned into candy floss!   We are going out for dinner tonight to Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles (a joint 50th birthday gift from a lovely friend) so will have to do something with my hair!

Really looking forward to tonight.  The last time we were there, there was drama beforehand.  Hoping this evening we will be able to relax and enjoy the whole experience properly.
