The Dog on the Stall

Bloods and asthma screening this morning. A yearly thing.

Then off to Loughborough, sans Basil, to sit at the Berber Shop. The fair is in town. Too noisy and crowded for Basil. But the music is mesmerising.

After Aziz returned from the mosque, I wandered round the stalls a bit but felt so tired I decided to look for tea and a sandwich at Delice Deli. Was sad to see the surveyor measuring the dimensions of the cafe. Then the owner told me it's been up for sale for a year but there's no interest. Basil and I will be sad when it's gone.

As you can see from the blip, some dogs do go to the fair. This chap, or chapess, was sitting patiently on the counter of one of the stalls. Didn't look too happy but he/she had no choice. It would be a very long day for him/her. The fair doesn't close until midnight.

Extra is of a reflection I spotted in the glass doorway of Aziz' shop. One of the rides clearly visible. The rest is in deep shadow.

Was delighted to be nominated as one of the top five blips for Autumn by the Blip Community Blog. Michele chose it as painterly.
