Up early and at the local retail park by 9.50 for Hobbycraft, Oakland Furniture and a handbag search, only to discover that the stores don't open until 10.30.  Oops. So, quick change of plans and an unexpected but enjoyable porridge and tea at Costa first.  An hour later and business done, I collected bro and we went back to the house to watch the rest of the Remembrance service on BBC during which time niece and both nephews joined us and thus we five stayed until 17.00.
