Dew Point

Boughing, hanging and quivering under the weight of the dew in the morning light; twinkling as the many drops caught the sun, this tiny grass caught my eye.

The fog had been thick the night before and the resulting dew carpeted the entire field - so much so it almost had a frosty glow! The spider webs instead of being circular were cocooning the grasses wrapping them in a silvery parcels. We too are snuggled and cocooned this afternoon having lit the wood burner, consuming copious cups of tea and boxes of handkies but I'd rather be outside enjoying the sun!

Downton on tonight - so sorted then!!

The grass is not always greener ..........more a soft pink - for Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge.
