Feeding time

17.11.17 and Tigg got us all!

Today felt a bit non-stop. Headed out again to Al Barsha to collect my new business cards. Yesterday's rainstorm as left clouds in the sky and a very pleasant day, so we enjoyed just being out.

Headed over to the other side of town to ACE. Our friend in Muscat is on the lookout for a 6m white Christmas tree!! Surprisingly, ACE had a 5m tree, but only in green. Anyway, item identified, we headed over to Festival City for a general browse and to get something to eat.

We then headed out towards the desert just to have a drive and see what's going on. Ended up at the nurseries in Warsan and then, driving past the bird sanctuary, stopped and visited the hide. What a good idea - there were only two other people there. It's the quietest we've ever seen it.

It was 25 minutes before feeding time, so we had plenty of time to observe the flamingos and hear their noises! The peace didn't last long though. The hide was soon abuzz with loads of people, many who don't understand the concept of QUIET. I didn't have the right camera, but at least I had a camera, so got as many shots as possible and left asap.
