This shot was taken just before the start of the match. It shows my favourite Newcastle player Jonás Gutiérrez who was Captain again today.

What a match. So many missed chances, defensive errors ....... and poor decisions by the linesmen and ref ( well according to the crowd anyway) The Newcastle supporters spent 90+ mins willing their team to score but the ball just would not go into the net. Perhaps it did once but the ref didn't think it had gone over the line. Lots of folk around me got texts from relatives watching on Sky who said the ball DID cross the line. Just sums up the match - nothing went right for NUFC.
