Santa Claus is coming . . .

This weekend in Toronto, although I missed it completely, was the big Santa Claus parade, which seemingly draws hundreds of thousands of people on to the streets. Santa passes by on a float and the route takes him through the very heart of the city.

I missed Santa on Sunday, but made up for it with this mini-Santa, spotted at the college. They have made a lovely effort decorating the central, communal area in the college - it is already feeling very Christmassy. 

Just like Halloween, I am getting the impression that Canadians take their holidays very seriously!
