Viaduct Arches

This afternoon I went for a walk along the Llangollen Canal at Chirk. The sun was shining but there was a strong, bitterly cold wind blowing. When I crossed the aqueduct over the River Ceiriog the force of the wind felt enough to send me sailing away like Mary Poppins, I had to hold onto my wooly hat or it would have been blown into the river!

It was a bit different to walking there in summer - no boats and very few people on the towpath.

The blip is of a couple of the viaduct arches taken from the aqueduct.
