Winter Festivities!!

Another cold, bright day and another trip into Bath this morning, this time to the Theatre Royal to listen to a very interesting talk by Chris Patten, MP for Bath from 1979-1992, last Governor of Hong Kong, former Chairman of the BBC and Chancellor of Oxford University. After the talk, time for a quick whizz around town running a few errands, and passing by the Christmas Market which was heaving, (as were the car parks!), so I shall return another day.

Then on a cold and frosty evening to my local high street for the town's annual Winter Festival. I didn't stay too long as it was rather nippy, but just long enough to see Father Christmas, to win a jigsaw puzzle and a bottle of bubble bath, to enjoy a hot mince pie, and to gaze at the Christmas lights...
