Up on the Roof

This is our roof squirrel.  We haven't named her yet but she is the only one who begs from the roof.  When we go outside she runs down to the gutter and peers over it at us waiting for a treat.  So we toss a peanut up to her and she grabs it and scampers up to the peak of the roof to eat it.  Since I was shooting into a bright sky this morning it was hard to get the exposure right so I decided to get creative and make this a night shot. ;-)

I am grateful for the time we spent decorating our Christmas tree together today and all the lovely memories we shared from years past.
