Winter shadows

I had a better night last night, and no longer felt cold, but neither did I feel 100%. However, it was a gorgeous day, and as we watched the temperature climb up to 61F, Roger said he thought it was warm enough for a bike ride, and I let myself be persuaded! I had my cycling leggings on and a fleece on the top half, but as we first set out it still felt a bit cool, however by the time we got to the turn-around point I had warmed up. I just did 12 miles, whereas Roger continued and did an extra 3 miles total. We had chosen a segment that has a good deal of sun, not as shaded as further south. We saw perhaps three other cyclists and a group of walkers, but overall it was pretty quiet.
